Fixed Deposit in Malaysia Bank Account

(Applicants cannot use the receipt of a house purchased before approval to apply for withdrawal of the deposit)

Purchasing of Residency Property (The house to be purchased can be owned before the application. If not, the applicant needs to purchase the house within 1 years after approval) Value 2 Million MYR and above. Minimum stay duration in Malaysia

21-49 years old applicant or the dependents must stay in Malaysia at least 90 days per year.

 (Eg, for Silver- Accumulation total 450 days before visa expiry is allowed)-People over 50 years old do not need to meet this requirement

Dependent

Dependent include Spouse, children or adopt children below 21 years old, children and adopted children above 21- 34 years old who don’t work in Malaysia and married, Disabled children with a doctor’s certificate (no age limit), parents and parents in law. 

* Platinum Class holder can apply dependent visa for his/ her foreign domestic helper.

Acceptance of Application

 

Preliminary preparation

  1. Copy of passport
  2. Blue background photo
  3. Letter of good conducts 
  4. Medical Declaration Form
  5. Dependent certificate 
  6. Proof of house in Malaysia (if any)

 

Initial application

Submit the prepared materials to the MM2H Department of Ministry of Tourism

 

Conditional approval

  1. MM2H Department issues conditional approval letter
  2. Use conditional approval letter to apply for a fixed deposit bank account at a Malaysian bank
  3. Use conditional approval letter to purchase Malaysian Medical Insurance
  4. Go to a Malaysian Medical Clinic for a physical examination

Submit final documents

  1. Submit bank deposit certificate, medical insurance certificate, and medical examination report to the MM2H Department
  2. Final approval will be obtained within 1 working day.

Final approval

  1. Make visa fee in the MM2H Payment System
  2. Send passport to the second home department for visa endorsement.
