Dependent Pass DP

Dependent Pass (DP) are visa documents open to current holders of Malaysian Employment Passes (EP). This is typically given to the Employment Pass (EP) holder’s spouse(s), children (under 18 years of age), legally adopted children (under 18 years of age), and parents.

L&H Group assists applicants in obtaining Dependent Passes (DP) via the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) under the Malaysian Immigration Department, to ensure a smooth application.

The duration of a Dependent Pass (DP) is subject to the principal applicant holder’s visa pass, in this case, Employment Pass (EP). Alternatively, it could also be subject to the individual applicant’s passport validity.

In terms of work and employment rights, Dependent Pass (DP) applicants will need to apply for a separate Employment Pass (EP), fulfilling the necessary criteria and eligibility.
